Celebrity actresses Dakota Johnson and Melanie Griffith will host a benefit for Action in Africa from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, at the Aspen Design Room, 625 E. Main St.
Live music, a silent auction, drinks and food will be served.
Started by two Aspen High School students and their history teacher, Action in Africa aims to increase the accessibility, affordability and quality of education in Uganda while facilitating community development.
